COS Opening Symposium "From Molecules to Living Systems"

Friday 13th May 2011: Inauguration of the new interdisciplinary Centre for Organsimal Studies at Heidelberg University




The COS opening symposium is held to celebrate the inauguration of our new interdisciplinary Centre for Organismal Studies. COS merges the former University of Heidelberg Institutes of Zoology and Plant Sciences and aims to understand the molecular mechanisms in the context of the entire organism. The speakers represent the various disciplines of our research centre ranging from physiology and metabolism to cell biology and development, both in plants and animals.
