14. Bertalanffy Lecture at COS
Posted September 13 2018
The Bertalanffy Lecture Series was installed with the aim to provide a better understanding of integrative approaches in systems oriented biology both to pupils from Heidelberg and to scientists on campus. The lecture series is a project supported by the Klaus-Tschira Foundation and takes place twice a year.

The 14. Bertalanffy Lecture at COS will start on October 18, 2018, with Dirk Inze (VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology, Ghent University)

On Thursday, he will give a lecture for high school students on "PLANT ORGAN SIZE: FROM BASIC RESEARCH TO HIGHER CROP YIELD". On October 19, 2018, he'll talk about "MECHANISM REGULATING THE SIZE OF PLANT ORGANS". Both lectures start at 2 pm in the Ludwig von Bertalanffy Lecture Hall, Im Neuenheimer Feld 230.
