Lab Training Program and Application Requirements

The deadline for the Central America and the Caribbean Lab Training call has expired. The review process has begun and will take some time. We offer

• up to 90 days stay

• integration in top-notch research groups in the fields of biology, medicine, bioinformatics and biophysics

• chance to present at research seminars

• funding for traveling and housing

• experience of German language and culture

• one month of language courses and excursions in and around Heidelberg (August only)


We are looking for

• students of biology, medicine, physics or informatics

• at least four years of study

• a genuine interest in research

• outstanding grades



We expect candidates to have a superior educational record, high self-motivation and strong dedication to science and research.
