Postdoc Position: Developmental Neurobiology Group

The Developmental Neurobiology Group is looking for a motivated, independent Postdoc (f/m).

We study the molecular basis of axon growth during development and regeneration. The projects of the postdoc will include the interactions of cell adhesion molecules with other types of proteins and the impact of these interactions on axon elongation and navigation; some data have already been collected and the postdoc should want to complete and publish these studies. In parallel to these basic research projects, also new translational projects should be started aiming at the improvement of axon regeneration. In addition, there is also room for own, independent project ideas. We are looking for a self-motivated, efficient person with a solid background in molecular and cellular biology, ideally within the area of neurosciences (senior postdocs especially invited).

We are a small, but well connected and well equipped group with full access to the numerous excellent facilities on the campus. The position is available for two years; please send your applications until December 21st, 2018.

Payment will be according to German TV-L, E13 (full time; also part time possible).

Please send your CV, relevant certificates, and a short letter of motivation (all documents as one pdf file) to:
